Capilla de San José Los primeros planos que hizo Gaudí para la Sagrada Familia fueron los de la Capilla de San José. Se construyó entre 1884 y 1885 y la escultura de San José la realizó Maximí Sala Sánchez. Junto con el taller de construcción, la Cripta sufrió importantes destrozos el 21 de julio de 1936 en un incendio provocado durante la quema de iglesias de Barcelona en la Guerra Civil. En este atentado se destruyó a parte de maquetas, planos y documentos del proyecto original de Gaudí, esta escultura de San José.
Chapel of St.Joseph The first plans made by Gaudí for the Sagrada Familia were from the Chapel of St.Joseph. It was built between 1884 and 1885 and the statue of St.Joseph was made by Maximí Sala Sánchez. Together with the workshop building, the Crypt suffered major damages on 21 July 1936 in a fire during the burning of churches of Barcelona in the Civil War.
