Leo

Leo es una de las constelaciones presentes en el cielo nocturno del nacimiento de Jesús. Se encuentra entre Cáncer y Virgo y el Sol pasa por ella entre el 10 de agosto al 16 de setiembre. Fueron los griegos los que vieron un león en este patrón de estrellas. Se convirtió en el distintivo de Hércules una vez que el héroe ahogó al león quitándole la vida. La cabeza de Leo la componen 6 estrellas que forman un signo de pregunta invertido, cuyo punto es su estrella más brillante, Regulus.

Leo is one of the constellations in the night sky of the birth of Jesus. It lies between Cancer and Virgo and the Sun passes through it from 10 august to 16 september. It was the greeks who saw a lion in this pattern of stars. It became the distinctive of Hercules the hero once he drowned the lion taking his life. Leo's head is composed of 6 stars forming a reversed question mark, whose point is its brightest star, Regulus.
