Crucero - 1985 - En el centro del Crucero, aún descubierto, se encuentra el baldaquino, este templete formado por cuatro columnas que sostienen un dosel plano para cobijar el Altar. Con el nombramiento de Jordi Bonet i Armengol como arquitecto director en 1985, la generación de arquitectos contemporáneos de Gaudí llega a su fin y se produce un verdadero cambio hacia la modernización de las obras.
