Gárgolas: Serpiente

La serpiente que es el símbolo bíblico de la tentación y la perfidia rompe con su cuerpo serpenteante, igual que el resto de gárgolas, la disciplina de las formas geométricas del Ábside. La condición bífida de la lengua de las serpientes hace que se las relacione con la mentira. Al asociar el músculo de la lengua con el discurso y considerar que sólo hay una verdad frente a muchas mentiras, la serpiente posee dos discursos y por tanto no pude decir la verdad, como la serpiente del jardín del Edén que engaña a Eva para que coma la fruta del árbol de la ciencia del bien y del mal.

Gargoyles: Snake

The snake is the biblical symbol of temptation and treachery that breaks with its twisted body, like the rest of gargoyles, the discipline of geometric shapes of the Apse. The condition forked tongues of snakes relate them to the lies. By matching the muscle of the tongue with speech and considering that there is only one truth in the face of many lies, the snake has two speeches and therefore it could not tell the truth, as the snake in the Eden to deceive Eve to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
