St.Bernard - 2010 Famous for his great love for the Virgin Mary he composed many marian prayers. He showed such leadership and saint qualities in the Cistercian convent, that with an age of 25 years (only with three as religious) he was sent as superior to found in 1115 the Cistercian Monastery of Clairvaux. Shortly before his death, in 1153, he wrote the text De Consideratione, which expresses a profound vision of the mystery of the Church and of Christ, emphasizing that the best approach to this mystery should be given from theb prayer and not from the discussion. |

Famoso por su gran amor a la Virgen María compuso muchas oraciones marianas. En el convento del Císter demostró tales cualidades de líder y de santo, que a los 25 años (con sólo tres de religioso) fue enviado como superior a fundar en 1115 el Monasterio cisterciense del Claraval.
Poco antes de morir, en 1153, escribió el texto De Consideratione, en el que expresa una profunda visión del misterio de la Iglesia y de Cristo, subrayando que el mejor acercamiento a este misterio se debe dar desde la plegaria y no desde la discusión.
