Uvas Negras y Vino Las uvas, a modo de símbolo de Eucaristía, también estan representado en los pináculos de la Nave Lateral en esta escultura realizada por el escultor Etsuro Sotoo. El pan de trigo y vino de uva son símbolos de lo sólido y lo líquido, y por tanto símbolos eucarísticos representando cuerpo y la sangre de Jesucristo. De la misma manera que las uvas son pisadas en el lagar para sacar su jugo que fermentado dará el vino, Jesucristo se dejó estrujar hasta derramar su sangre.
Black Grapes and Wine The grapes, as a symbol of the Eucharist, are also represented at the pinnacles of the Lateral Nave in this sculpture made by sculptor Etsuro Sotoo. The wheat bread and the grape wine are symbols of the solid and the liquid, and therefore eucharistic symbols representing the body and the blood of Jesus Christ. In the same way that the grapes are pressed in the winery to get fermented juice to give the wine, Jesus Christ was squeezed to shed his blood. |
