Fachada de la Pasión La Fachada de la Pasión representa la Pasión de Jesús, de ahí su nombre. Muestra el dolor, el sacrificio y la muerte, tal como queda escenificado en las doce estaciones del Vía Crucis, representadas con conjuntos escultóricos de gran dramatismo e intensidad emotiva, exenta de ornamentación para facilitar la concentración del espíritu. Está orientada al oeste y, por lo tanto, recibe los últimos rayos en la puesta del sol. De esta manera se acentúa el efecto simbólico de oscuridad y penumbras que perseguía Josep María Subirachs.
Passion Facade The Passion Facade represents the Passion of Jesus, hence its name. Displays the pain, sacrifice and death, as is dramatized in the twelve stations of the Via Crucis, represented by groups of sculptures of high dramatism and emotional intensity, free from ornamentation to facilitate the concentration of the spirit. It faces to the west and, therefore, receives the last rays at sunset. This will accentuate the symbolic effect of darkness and shadows chasing Josep Maria Subirachs. |
