La música y el fuego en la Sagrada Familia se sumaron la noche del 1 de junio de forma espectacular a la celebración del «Año Gaudí 2002». Con una masiva participación ciudadana, la capital catalana se convirtió en una gran fiesta popular de luces, música, pirotecnia y representaciones teatrales para homenajear al artista que colocó Barcelona en la vanguardia del modernismo.

The music and fire at the Sagrada Familia joined the night of June 1 dramatically with the celebration of the «Gaudí Year 2002». With a massive public participation, the catalan capital became a festival of lights, music, pyrotechnics and theatrical performances to pay tribute to the artist that put Barcelona in the forefront of modernism.
