San Juan El primer tertramorfo es el águila que representa a San Juan, significa cómo hay que mirar los designios de Dios con mirada atentísima como el ave mira cuanto le indica el maestro de cetrería. Cuatro tallos fuertes y robustos de 24 metros de altitud de pórfido, se alzan verticalmente para ramificarse en su final y desempeñar la función encomendada por el artista Gaudí, la de sostener la carga del cimborrio central de Jesucristo y de las cuatro columnas de los Evangelistas que lo rodearán. En sus capiteles elipsoidales están colocadas las luminarias dedicadas a cada uno de los Evangelistas.
