San Zacarías San Zacarías que junto a Santa Isabel es el padre de San Juan Bautista. Fue sacerdote en el templo de Jerusalén. Tras la aparición del arcángel Gabriel perdió el habla por su débil fe hasta que mencionó el nombre de su futuro hijo Juan (el Bautista). La escultura fue realizada por el escultor Llorenç Matamala i Piñol según composición y dirección de Gaudí.
St.Zacharias St.Zacharias is together with Santa Isabel the father of St.John Baptist. He was a priest in the temple of Jerusalem. After the appearance of the archangel Gabriel he lost his voice because of his weak faith until he mentioned the name of his future son John (the Baptist).
