Gárgolas: Caracol

A ambos extremos del Ábside, en las escaleras laterales, las gárgolas representan figuras de caracoles de tierra de grandes dimensiones en el lado de Poniente, y caracolas marinas en el de Levante, con la clara intención de simbolizar las referencias helicoidales entre ambos, escaleras y caracoles, así como para indicar que con lentitud y paciencia se consigue ascender y alcanzar los objetivos.

Gargoyles: Snail

At both sides of the Apse, at the lateral stairs, at the West side are large gargoyles depicting figures of land snails, and at the East side marine snails, with the clear intention to symbolize the helical references between them, stairs and snails, as well as to indicate that slow and patience will get up and achieve the objectives.
