Gárgolas: Caracola

A ambos extremos del Ábside, en las escaleras laterales, las gárgolas representan figuras de caracolas marinas de grandes dimensiones en el lado de Levante, y caracoles de tierra en el de Poniente, con la clara intención de simbolizar las referencias helicoidales entre ambos, escaleras y caracolas, así como para indicar que con lentitud y paciencia se consigue ascender y alcanzar los objetivos.

Gargoyles: Sea Snail

At both sides of the Apse, at the lateral stairs, at the East side are large gargoyles depicting figures of marine snails, and at the West side land snails, with the clear intention to symbolize the helical references between them, stairs and snails, as well as to indicate that slow and patience will get up and achieve the objectives.
