Ángel Áptero Gaudí pensaba que los ángeles no pueden volar, por tanto todos los ángeles de la Fachada de la Natividad son ápteros. Los tres Magos encuentran al Niño, lo adoran y le obsequian oro, incienso y mirra. Este Ángel se aparece a los tres Magos y les advirte del peligro que corre Jesús si ellos obedecían el deseo de Herodes. Así pues, no vuelven por el mismo sitio ni le revelan el lugar del Nacimiento a Herodes. Este Ángel fue modelado y realizado por el escultor Llorenç Matamala i Piñol.
