El Nacimiento Sobre el capitel de la Columna, como en los belenes caseros, está Jesús recién nacido arropado por José y María y flanqueado está el buey y la mula. En el fondo se lee en latín «Gloria a Dios en las alturas y en la tierra paz a los hombres de buena voluntad». Simbólicamente el buey y la mula representan la polaridad básica y esencial, el buey representa las fuerzas benéficas y la mula las maléficas. Los dos animales simbolizan el bien y el mal en potencia, dualidad propia de todo nacimiento. El Nacimiento fue realizado por el escultor Jaume Busquets.
