Longinus Longinus, the centurion who is in command of the soldiers guarding Jesus, crosses with his spear the right side of Jesus. After converting to Christianity he was just being a martyr of the church. To give more drama to the scene, Longino nailed the spear on the wall of the Temple as if he nailed it at the same body of Christ.
