Fachada Ábside - 2006 - La parte exterior del Ábside, fue uno de los primeros elementos construidos. Mantiene el carácter gótico que le dió el arquitecto Villar y que Gaudí respetó. Sin embargo también manifiesta el estilo único que Gaudí supo impregnarle como un «perfeccionamiento del gótico». Siete capillas iluminadas por tres ventanales rodean el presbiterio. Los pilares de las aristas de las capillas acaban en pináculos prismáticos y a media altura gárgolas con figuras de dragones, lagartos, serpientes, salamandras, ranas, etc. sirven para la evacuación de aguas pluviales.
