San Benito de Nursia
San Benito de Nursia (Nursia, 480 – Montecasino, 21 de marzo de 547), hermano de
Santa Escolástica, es considerado el iniciador de la vida monástica en Occidente, fundó la orden de los Benedictinos,
cuyo fin era establecer monasterios autosuficiente.
